Tigersville, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse team will open their season on Saturday, as they travel to Tigersville, SC to face North Greenville at 1 pm. 

This will be the fifth time that the Railsplitters and the Trailblazers meet, with the series tied at 2-2. Their most recent match up was in Harrogate least season in February of 2024, and the Railsplitters fell short 8-16. The last time that Lincoln Memorial and North Greenville faced off in Tigersville was on February of 2020, where the Trailblazers defeated the Railspitters 2-10. 

In the 2025 SAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll, LMU was voted to finish 8th. Rhodes Conroy and Ashton Wilson were both named All-SAC Second Team. In the 2024 season, Conroy lead the team in points and goals, with 36 goals and 51 points. Conroy started and played in 14 games, and Wilson played in 15 games and started 12. Wilson was fourth on the team in ground balls with 33. 

Saturday's match will also be North Greenville's first match of the 2025 season. The Trailblazers are in the Conference Carolinas, and they were voted tied for 2nd in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. Players to watch from North Greenville, voted by the conference, are Hayden Moffat, Gabe Nelson, and Tristan Stephenson.
