Cleveland, TN – The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team finished the fall season by traveling to participate in the Lee Hidden Duals, hosted by Lee University on Saturday. The Railsplitters face competition from Lee University and the University of the Cumberlands.  

Railsplitters team dominated in doubles play, with the LMU women claiming six wins during the duals. The top-seeded team of Adriana Pellizzari and Lucie Palud finished the day 2-0, defeating the top-rated team from Cumberlands 6-1 before shutting down Lee's number two team 6-0. Rosalie Carrier-Dulac earned two wins in the doubles poll, defeating the number five team from Cumberland 7-5 alongside Carla Ramonet before handling the Patriots fourth 6-2 alongside Mia Rodriguez. The Splitters second doubles pairing of Marta Melnichenok and Alexandra Ortiz would earn a 7-5 victory over Cumberlands second team to round out the day in the doubles pool. 

LMU saw similar success in singles play, with five Railsplitters earning a win. Pellizzari secured a straight sets victory over Lee's fourth seeded singles player, while her doubles partner Palud defeated her opponent from Cumberlands 8-4. Ortiz would take down an opponent from Lee 6-2, 6-3 while Mar Garcia Bucosa shut down her Cumberlands foe 6-3, 6-0. Carrier-Dulac, who performed out of the number one singles position, defeated Lee's number two singles player in two sets to finish the day for Lincoln Memorial.  

The Railsplitters will take the rest of the fall season off before starting spring competition on February 6 hosting Cumberlands.
