Dahlonega, GA - Lincoln Memorial women's basketball will play in -another invitational this weekend as they compete in the UNG Nighthawk Classic, playing host #14 University of North Georgia on Friday, November 21st at 6 pm and Clayton State on Saturday, November 22nd at 2 pm.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of two wins in the Conference Crossover Challenge last weekend, defeating King University 92-45 and Converse 86-41.
Lexi Patty led the team in scoring against King with 22 points, along with securing seven rebounds.
Kamil Collier was the team-leader in the game against the Tornado with 16 rebounds.

Keiara Anderson led the team in rebounds with 6.
LMU vs North Georgia - Friday, November 21st @ 6 pm
The Lady Railsplitters will face hosts the University of North Georgia Nighthawks Friday at 6 pm.
Friday's meeting will be the 10th all-time contest between UNG and LMU, with Lincoln Memorial slightly falling in the series 4-5. Their most recent match up was in the 2023-2024 season on November 18th, 2023 in Dahlonega, where the Lady Raisplitters fell just short 56-58. The last time that LMU was victorious over North Georgia was in the 2008-2009 season, as the Lady Railsplitters defeated UNG 76-64.
North Georgia is coming off of two wins in the Peach Belt / Conference Carolinas Challenge, where they defeated Emmanuel 76-59 and Young Harris 64-52.
The leaders on the team are Caroline Martin (#24), who is averaging 17.6 points per game and Averie Jones (#3), who is averaging 14.2 points per game. Kendall Emener leads the team in rebounding average with 4.8 points per game.
In the most recent Women's Basketball Coaches Association Poll, Nortth Georgia was ranked #14.
LMU vs Clayton State - Saturday, November 22nd @ 2 pm
Lincoln Memorial will face the Clayton State University Lakers Saturday at 2 pm.
The contest on Saturday will be the 9th overall meeting between the two teams, with LMU winning the series 5-3. Their most recent meeting was in the 2023-2024 season on November 17th, 2023 in Dahlonega, where Lincoln Memorial defeated Clayton State 77-64.
The Lakers are coming off of a split weekend at the Conference Challenge hosted by Flagler, where they defeated Shorter 77-75 but fell short to Anderson 88-66.
The Clayton State leaders are Nya Young (#5) with an average of 16.5 points per game and Tianna Dismuke (#11) averaging 7.5 rebounds per game.
