Harrogate, TN - Following three extremely competitive games last weekend at home against Quincy University, the Lincoln Memorial baseball team is slated to host its conference opener against Limestone in a three-game series at Lamar Hennon Field this weekend. First pitch of game one is slated for Friday at 1 PM. Due to inclement weather, the double-header will now be played on Friday instead of Saturday. Game two will follow game one at 4 PM and will be a seven inning contest. Saturday has the highest threat for potential downpours, therefore game three will be now be played on Sunday at 1 PM. The Railsplitters improved to 4-4 on the season after taking 2-of-3 games against the Hawks. Lincoln Memorial came from behind in each game, including a seven-run ninth inning in game two to claim an 11-10 victory, clinching the series.

Sam Mast leads Lincoln Memorial's offense, batting .308 with 10 RBI on eight hits with two doubles and two home runs. Alex Kowalski follows closely with a .267 average, 10 RBI, eight hits, four doubles, and a homer. Kasten Harvey bats a .250 average with eight hits and six RBI. He is the team leader in runs with 12, and home runs with three. Ford Hallock has driven in seven runs on the season, batting .412 with seven hits and two doubles.
