Lincoln Memorial received votes this past week in the 2025 NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The team is 8-3 on the season, fresh off wins last Friday in the LMU Invitational over Davis & Elkins and Wayne State. Halle Grace Patton is 7-1 in her time in the circle, posting a 1.60 ERA and 1.10 WHIP, including six complete games and 48 innings pitched. Anna Kate Reichter is hitting .351 on the year, holding a .891 OPS with 13 hits and 10 runs while remaining perfect in her fielding percentage and successfully stealing all seven stolen base attempts. Reese Vivrette returned to the plate this past weekend after missing a couple of games, now holding a .375 average in seven games played with a .708 slugging percentage and a .444 on-base percentage. Hannah McMeen leads the team in on-base percentage with .474, earning nine hits while holding a team-high nine walks drawn.

Lincoln Memorial has faced Ohio Dominican 10 times before, holding an 8-2 record all-time against the Panthers. The same 2025 Great Midwest Softball Coaches Preseason Poll had the Panthers picked second in the conference. Their season has begun with a 1-3 record, earning their win over Missouri-St. Louis at the Music City Invitational on the first weekend of February. ODU will face North Greenville in Tigerville, South Carolina for a Saturday doubleheader before making the trip to Harrogate on Sunday.

Ursuline has yet to play in the 2025 season, their scheduled games against King and Mars Hill last weekend being canceled. The Arrows were picked 12th in the 2025 Great Midwest Softball Coaches Preseason Poll after their 2024 season ended with a 5-35 record. Saturday's contests will mark the first meetings between the two programs.
