Harrogate, TN- The LMU Softball team will continue their gauntlet of a week with a doubleheader against Lee University tomorrow, February 26th. The games are slated for 2 PM and 4 PM at Stanley Butler Softball Field in Cleveland, TN.Â
The 11-4 Railsplitters are fresh off two dominant wins on Monday over Ursuline College, beating the Arrows by a combined score of 25-0. Lincoln Memorial is also receiving votes for the second straight week in the 2025 NFCA/GoRout DII Top 25 Softball Coaches Poll.
Halle Grace Patton has led the way in the circle, going 9-1 in her 11 appearances. She holds a 1.28 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in her 60 innings of work.
Hanna Bogoski is the team leader in batting average, going .452 so far with a 1.127 OPS, .613 slugging percentage, and .514 on-base percentage. Joining her in the crew of those holding an on-base percentage over .500 is
Hannah McMeen. McMeen went 5-6 in the series against Ursuline and has tallied a team-high 15 hits and 10 walks up to this point of the season.Â
Lee University has gone 9-4 to start their 2025 season, earning their most recent wins in a series victory over The University of Alabama at Huntsville this past weekend. The Flames have hit .364 as a team this season, hitting 10 home runs and a slugging percentage of .504 overall. Their pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.54, owning a .309 batting average against them. The Railsplitters hold the history between the two programs 8-4, the last meeting between them resulting in a split last year in Harrogate.
