HARROGATE Tenn. - The LMU Women's Tennis Team will host three matches this weekend. They will play against the University of Cumberlands Thursday, February 6th, at 3:00 PM. Last season the Railsplitters defeated the University of Cumberlands 5-2.
The next day they will compete against Southeast Missouri State University at 4:00 PM. This will be the first time that the LMU Women's Tennis Team will compete against the Redhawks. To conclude the weekend, the women will play against Young Harris College Saturday, February 8th, at 5:00 PM. The last time that the team played Young Harris College the Mountain Lions defeated the Railsplitters 3-4. All these matches will be hosted at home at the Indoor Tennis Facility.
Last weekend the Lady Railsplitters played against Union College, Johnson University, Georgetown College, and the University of North Georgia. The Splitters looked strong all weekend and took three wins home. The women took down Union College 4-3 after losing to them the previous season 3-4. They also went undefeated all-day Saturday against Johnson University and Georgetown College. To finish out their weekend, they won one doubles match, and two singles matches against 6th ranked North Georgia.
