Box Score HARROGATE Tenn. - The LMU Women's Tennis Team welcomed the University of the Cumberlands University this afternoon. The Lady Railsplitters fell to the Patriots 3-4. 
At number one doubles was Adrianna Pellizzari and Mia Rodriguez and they would have a tough match and finish with a score of 1-6. At line two there was Rosalie Carrier-Dulac and Lucie Palud and they finished with a score of 4-6. Stealing a win for the Splitters was Marta Melnichenok and Alexandra Ortiz winning at line three doubles 7-5. 

The freshman, Marta Melnichenok, at line two singles would fight for a win, but fall short and finish 5-7 1-6. Adriana Pellizzari, at No. 1 Singles, would go to fight in three sets and have a score of 3-6 7-5 2-6. At line three singles was Mann-Ning Li who had a three-set thriller match. Li would fight but fell to her opponent 6-4 0-6 6-4.

Mia Rodriguez and Rosalie Carrier-Dulac would take their opponents down and both would win in a tie breaker for the third set. Rodriguez would beat her opponent 6-0 4-6 (10-2). Carrier-Dulac would beat her foe 5-7 6-1 (10-8). Finishing out the day was Alexandra Ortiz at No. 6 singles, and she would edge out the competition 8-6. 

The Women's tennis team will be back at it again Friday, February 7th, at the Indoor Tennis Facility against Southeast Missouri State University. The scores from the match are posted below.
