Harrogate, TN - Three days after claiming its second conference series of the season, the Lincoln Memorial baseball team is slated for a midweek match up with non-conference opponent Kentucky State. The teams met twice in 2024 with Lincoln Memorial taking both games by a combined 19-9. The Railsplitters claimed a narrow 5-4 win at home before throttling the Thoroughbreds 14-5 on the road.
Kasten Harvey leads not only the team, but the conference in home runs with 10 on the season. Harvey's latest homer was a no-doubter in walk-off fashion against Emory & Henry. He is also third in the conference in hits, and fourth in the conference in RBI with 27. He is batting .375 with a .864% SLG% and a 1.331 OPS. In 88 at-bats this season, he has only been struck out 10 times and has connected on 33 hits, including: five doubles, four triples, and 10 long bombs. He's also added 24 runs on the season.
Archer Wong-Shasteen follows Harvey closely in hits with 27, which is good for 12th in the conference. He has driven in 14 runs so far this season.

Alex Kowalski,
Trace Simmons, and
Chris Hall each have 10 or more RBI on the season. Mast is second on the team with 17, Kowalski then follows with 15, Wong-Shasteen adds 14, Simmons has 12, Hagedorn has 11, and Hall has 10, seeing the Railsplitters with seven batters who have double digit RBI on the season. Hall became Lincoln Memorial's all-time triples leader on Saturday against Emory & Henry after claiming the single season triples record in 2024.
First pitch between the Railsplitters and Thoroughbreds is slated for 4 PM on Tuesday.
