Harrogate, TN - Following a midweek schedule shift which saw the match up with Kentucky State moved back a week, the Lincoln Memorial baseball team will be back on its home field for a Friday double-header ahead of some predicted soaking rains this weekend. The Railsplitters play host to the Roosevelt Lakers out of Chicago, IL for a four-game series, beginning with the double-header on Friday. As of press time, Lincoln Memorial and Roosevelt are slated to play on Saturday at 1 PM and Sunday at noon. Weather could change start times or dates.
The Lakers are new to Division II and this will be the first time the two teams have met. Roosevelt comes to Harrogate with a 5-9 overall record, on a three-game skid. Lincoln Memorial is 12-10 on the season with a 6-6 mark in conference play, most recently taking a conference series with Emory & Henry, 2-1.
