Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial softball team's contests originally scheduled for Saturday against Lenoir-Rhyne have been moved to Friday due to weather concerns. The games are set to take place at the Dorothy G Neely Softball Complex in Harrogate starting at 2 PM and 4 PM.
LMU is 19-8 on the season, 3-3 in conference play, after earning a series sweep over Coker earlier this week.
Halle Grace Patton earned both complete game victories in those two contests, bringing her season to tally a 14-3 record with a 1.69 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP, and six shutouts.
Hannah McMeen has had the hot bat lately, adding two more home runs to her resume in the last week to bring her slash line to .390/.484/.649 while also holding a 1.133 OPS.
Hanna Bogoski is hitting .348 and leads the team in RBI, tallying 18 on the season.
Anna Kate Reichter currently has a .337 average, while also going a perfect 13-13 in stolen bases. Lincoln Memorial as a team is hitting .299 on the year with a .391 on-base percentage, and a .408 slugging percentage.
They will face Lenoir-Rhyne, who is 16-10 on the season and 5-1 in SAC contests. Lenoir-Rhyne was originally picked 4th in the country in the NFCA/GoRout DII Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll, dropping out of the rankings in week three. They're coming off a good week, earning series sweeps over both Catawba and UVA-Wise. The Bears are hitting .344 as a team with a .424 on-base and .547 slugging percentage. Their pitching staff has a 3.59 ERA, allowing their opponents to hit .295 against them. They are led in hitting by Madison Primm and Lani Warren, who have hit .434 and .427, respectively, and account for over 60 of the team's hits, including 10 homers. LR holds the history between the programs, taking both of last year's matchups in Hickory.
