HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team finished playing 13th ranked Wingate University. The women barely lost 3-4. 

At No. 1 doubles was Carla Ramonet and Rosalie Carrier-Dulac and they fell to the Bulldogs 1-6. At No. 3 doubles Adriana Pellizzari and Lucie Palud won their match 6-3. At No. 2 doubles was Alexandra Ortiz and Marta Melnichenok who lost 5-7. 

Starting off the singles strong was Alexandra Ortiz at No. 6 singles who destroyed her opponent 6-4, 6-3. Mia Rodriguez, No. 4 singles, had a close second set but would lose 1–6, 5-7. Finishing off her opponent at No. 5 singles was Mann-Ning Li with a score of 6-4, 6-3. 

Marta Melnichenok was at No. 1 singles and took her opponent to three sets. Melnichenok was neck-and-neck with the Bulldogs, but fell 2-6, 6-4, 4-6. Finishing next was Adriana Pellizzari at No. 3 singles who beat her opponent 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. Rosalie Carrier-Dulac fought until the very end, but the Bulldogs came on top and won 6-3, 4-6, 3-6. 

The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis Team will play again on Wednesday, March 19th against Emory and Henry at Emory, VA.
