Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial Softball (22-9, 6-4) will travel to Bristol, TN, on Thursday for non-conference softball action against King University (15-9, 4-0). The game times are set for 2 PM and 4 PM.Â
LMU is coming off a series sweep over Anderson yesterday, the wins in sixth-inning come-from-behind fashion thanks to
Alyssa Williams, who had the go-ahead RBI in both contests.
Hannah McMeen continues to be the team leader in average, hitting .371 with a .456 on-base and .618 slugging percentage.
Hanna Bogoski added another double to her resume yesterday, now tallying six on the season as part of her .342 average and team-high 19 RBI. Not far behind her is Anna Kate Reicther, whose .341 average is paired with 14 stolen bases on the year. The team is hitting .295 overall, averaging a little over five runs per game.
Halle Grace Patton and
Jasmine Kaylor both added another win to their respective stat lines yesterday. Patton's win improves her tally to 16 on the year, tied for the most in all of NCAA DII Softball.
King is also coming off a series win in their own conference opponent of Lees-McRae yesterday. The Tornado have hit .320 on the season while averaging just under six runs per game. Their pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.93, seeing teams hit .265 against them. LMU holds the edge in the all-time series between the programs, going 23-13 in those matchups. The last series was split between them in Harrogate in 2024.
