Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse team will face the Bears of #9 Lenoir-Rhyne at home on Saturday at 4 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
Saturday's match up will be the 10th time that the two teams will meet, with L-R winning the series 0-9. Their most recent match up was in Hickory last season, where LMU fell short 2-22. In their most recent match at home, the Railsplitters also came short to the Bears 6-19.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 12-25 loss against Anderson.
Gavin Reid and
Alex Winters would lead in points with 4, as Reid registers 2 goals and 2 assists and Winters tallies 4 goals.
John Lombel would lead in ground balls with a career-high 12, and he would also lead in caused turnovers with 3.
Haden Berry would win 8/18 face offs and
Brixten McKenzie would win 9/22.
Connor Fitzgibbon would earn 8 saves and
Jayden Herman would record 9 saves.

In the SAC, Lombel is 4th in caused turnovers per game with 2.25 and 6th in ground balls per game with 5.38. Berry is 7th in face off winning percentage with 0.500. Fitzgibbon is 6th in goals against average with 14.28, 7th in save percentage with 0.455, and 4th in saves per game with 10.13.
Nationally, Lombel is ranked 14th in the nation in caused turnovers per game.
As a team, Lincoln Memorial is 5th in the SAC in clearing percentage with 0.876 and 5th in saves per game with 12.63.
Lenoir-Rhyne is coming off of a 6-16 loss against #3 Limestone.
