LENOIR CITY, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Men's Golf team finished up the Tennessee River Rumble, which they hosted in Lenoir City. The Railsplitters finished in 1st place at (+6) 289-286-295-870.
In second place was No. 2 ranked University of North Georgia who finished at (+7) 287-292-292-871. Rounding out the top three was Lenoir-Rhyne University finishing at (+14) 289-282-307-878.
Leading the Railsplitters in their 1st place finish was George Durkan. Durkan finished in 1st at (-5) 71-72-68-211. Jamie Dean finished in T11 at (+2) 71-73-74-218. Ian Taggart finished in T16 at (+3) 76-69-74-219. Next up was Ryan Gavin in T57 at (+11) 73-72-82-227. Rounding out the lineup was Max Reynolds who placed in T68 at (+15) 74-78-79-231.
The B had a great showing at the Tennessee River Rumble with Morgan Cain placing in T7 at (+1) 76-73-68-217. Edward Mason landed himself in T11 at (+2) 71-74-73-218. In T44 place was Loic Naas finishing with a score of (+9) 75-75-75-225. Max Murry placed in T68 at (+15) 74-78-79-231. The final Railsplitter, Alexei Butchart, finished in T80 at (+18) 77-80-77-234.
The Men's Golf team will be back in action April 7-8 to play their last invitational before the SAC tournament. The Railsplitters will play in the Argonaut Invitational in Pensacola, FL at the Pensacola Country Club.
