Harrogate, TN- LMU (24-11, 8-4) will host Mars Hill (17-17, 7-7) on Saturday, March 29th, for a 1 PM/3 PM doubleheader at the Dorothy Neely Softball Complex.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off a dominant series sweep over #17 Tusculum on the road earlier this week, scoring the most runs in a game this season in their 18-3 game two victory over the Pioneers. The Splitters are hitting an even .300 on the season as a team, tallying a .388 on-base percentage and a .414 slugging percentage. Hannah McMeen, Hanna Bogoski, and Anna Kate Reichter continue to lead the team on the hitting side, all three over .300 in average and over .400 in on-base percentage. McMeen leads the team in slugging percentage as well (.644), also holding a team-high 14 extra-base hits. Halle Grace Patton was just named to the 2025 NFCA DII Pitcher of the Year Watchlist for her time in the circle. She leads the staff in ERA (2.13), appearances (26), games started (20), complete games (18), shutouts (6), and saves (2).

Mars Hill played Catawba earlier this week, earning the series split and scoring double-digit runs in both. The Lions have a team slash line of .257/.367/.422 on the year. Their pitching staff holding a combined ERA of 4.57 and WHIP of 1.59 on the year, with opponents hitting .291 against them. Bri Weimer and Maia Sholter are both hitting over .300 on the year, the lone Lions to do so. LMU holds the edge all-time between the programs, going 19-13 overall despite losing both on the road last year at Mars Hill.
