HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team played another match at home to finish off their Spring break. The Women's team fell to Newberry College 3-4. 

No. 1 doubles, Mann-Ning Li and Carla Ramonet, fell to the Wolves 1-6. Fighting for the doubles point was Alexandra Ortiz and Marta Melnichenok, but lost 3-6. At No. 3 doubles Adriana Pellizzari and Lucie Palud had their doubles match go unfinished. 

Fighting for every point was Mann-Ning Li at No. 5 singles. Li resulted in a score of 1-6, 0-6. Getting the first singles point was Alexandra Ortiz, at No. 6 singles. Ortiz finished with a score of 6-2, 7-5. At No. 2 singles Marta Melnichenok toyed with her opponent, winning 6-4, 6-3. Adriana Pellizzari beat her opponent at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-2. Mia Rodriguez, No. 4 singles, battled with her opponent but fell short 3-6, 4-6. Rosalie Carrier-Dulac fought until the very end but barely lost 6-2, 3-6, 6-7 (5). 

The Lady Railsplitters will be back in action April 2nd, to play Carson-Newman University at home. The match will start at 11:00 AM and will be hosted at the LMU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
