Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial (29-16, 13-9) will host their last regular season series on Friday, April 18th, for a 12 PM/2 PM doubleheader against Wingate (33-17, 18-4). 

Lincoln Memorial is currently tied for third in conference standings. They are returning to play after a 3-1 week that included a sweep over UVA Wise and a split with Limestone. The Splitters are hitting .309, led by Hanna Bogoski who has a personal average of .381 at the plate. Joining her in hitting over .300 is Anna Kate Reicther (.364), Hannah McMeen (.353), and Kristin Griffin (.301). McMeen also leads the team in slugging percentage, holding a .579 mark thanks to her team-high 15 extra-base hits on the season. The series will also mark senior day, the lone senior on the team being ace pitcher Halle Grace Patton. Patton eclipsed 20 wins on the season this past week, just the ninth pitcher in LMU history to ever do so. Patton holds a 2.41 ERA on the season and has thrown 23 complete games, seven shutouts, and holds two saves. 

Wingate has already clinched the one-seed and Regular Season Champion title in the South Atlantic Conference. The Bulldogs saw a perfect 6-0 record last week, sweeping Newberry and Mars Hill in conference and earning the non-conference sweep over Mount Olive. WU has hit .338 on the year with a .411 on-base percentage and .525 slugging percentage. Their 53 home runs on the season have largely been due to the trio of Hannah Stevens (16), Savanna Brooks (14), and Hali Scott (11). Jillian Thomas has been their go-to in the circle, holding a 2.57 ERA on a 15-6 record in 28 appearances. Last season, Wingate swept the series over LMU in North Carolina, increasing their series history lead to 22-11 over the Splitters. The series marks an important one for conference seeding, the top four teams facing off against one another on the weekend to close out regular season play (Wingate vs LMU, Newberry vs Carson-Newman).
