HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team finished playing their rivals Carson-Newman University. The Lady Railsplitters would have fallen to the No. 44 ranked Eagles 0-4. 

At No. 3 doubles was Mann-Ning Li and Mar Garcia, the pairing fought for every point but resulted in a score of 2-6. At No. 2 doubles was Adriana Pellizzari and Lucie Palud. The pairing went close with their opponents in the beginning but the Eagles strayed ahead, winning 6-3. No. 1 doubles, Marta Melnichenok and Rosalie Carrier-Dulac, had their doubles match go unfinished. 

The first Splitter to finish their singles match was Marta Melnichenok who played No. 2 singles. Melnichenok lost her first set 1-6, and came close in the second, but fell short 4-6. The next Lady Railsplitter was Mar Garcia at No. 6 singles. Garcia fell to the Eagles 4-6, 1-6. The final match of the day was at No. 5 singles, Mann-Ning Li. Li put up a good effort but fell 4-6, 3-6. 

No. 1 Adriana Pellizzari, No. 3 Rosalie Carrier-Dulac, and No. 4 Mia Rodriguez had their match go unfinished. 

The Lady Railsplitters will look to bounce back and get another conference win on Saturday, April 5th against Limestone University. The match will be held at Gaffney, SC and will start at 12:00 PM.
