Men’s Golf Moves Up in the Rankings

HARROGATE, Tenn. - The NCAA Division II Men's Golf rankings were released for this week, and the rankings are presented by Scoreboard. The Lincoln Memorial University Men's Golf team moved up one spot, ranking them 3rd in the nation. 

The Men's Golf team is the highest ranked team in the SAC. Only two other teams in the SAC are ranked in the top 25. Wingate University sits in 14th, while Lenoir-Rhyne University is ranked 24th. 

The Railsplitters just won the South Atlantic Conference Championship. In this Championship the men played phenomenally and gave no chance for any other teams to come close. The Railsplitters finished at (-20) 279-291-274-844. This finish was the largest margin of victory in sac history. Ian Taggart and Jamie Dean were tied for 1st place and had an outstanding performance. Ian Taggart finished at (-5) 68-74-69, while Jamie finished at (-5) 69-76-66. 

The men will play the NCAA S/SE Regional Championship on  May 8-10 in Howie in the Hills, FL at the Mission Inn Resort.
