Harrogate, TN -- It's hard to believe, but the end of the baseball regular season is here. One week after taking two of three games in a road series against the Coker Cobras, the Lincoln Memorial baseball team will back on its home field to wrap up the regular season against 6th-ranked Catawba. The Railsplitters will honor their seniors on Sunday. Lincoln Memorial currently sits in seventh in conference standings with a 24-20 overall record, including a 13-14 mark in conference play. Catawba is first in the conference, bolstering an overall record of 33-12, including a 22-5 mark in conference play. Due to inclement weather in the forecast, game times were shifted around to ensure that all games are played. Game one will be held on Saturday with first pitch slated for 6 PM. Sunday will feature a doubleheader, with first pitch of game one slated for 1 PM.

This weekend's series is vital to the Railsplitters as they vye for last-minute conference footing. Shortstop
Kasten Harvey leads the team, and is tied for second in the conference, in home runs with 18 on the season. He is also sixth in the conference in RBI with 46. He is batting .352 with a .794% SLG% and a 1.242 OPS. In 165 at-bats this season, he has connected on 58 hits, including: seven doubles, six triples, and 18 homers. He's also added 48 runs on the season.
Archer Wong-Shasteen follows Harvey in hits with 47 on the season. He has driven in 19 runs and is batting .343 on the season.
Trace Simmons is tied for third on the team in hits with 45. In his 45 hits, Simmons has driven in 33 runs and is batting a team-high .366 on the year.
Chris Hall also has 45 hits on the season and has driven in 24 runs on the season. He is batting .294 on the year. Last week against Coker, Hall and Harvey both went 5-for-5 at the plate in game one of the doubleheader. Hall hit for the cycle and Harvey hit two triples and a pair of home runs.
Alex Kowalski is fourth on the team in hits, trailing Simmons and Hall by just one hit with 44 on the year. Kowalski is second on the team in RBI with 40 on the season, batting .278 on the year.
Brooks Hagedorn has been a model of consistency for the Railsplitters. On the season, Hagedorn is batting .313 and has driven in 26 runs on 35 hits. He leads the team in doubles with 11 on the year.
Sam Mast is tied for third on the team in RBI, driving in 33 runs on 33 hits on the season. He is tied for third on the team with five home runs. Colin Muphy and
Eli Edds lead the Railsplitters on the mound. On the season, in 67.1 innings pitched, Murphy has tallied 56 strikeouts, allowing 70 hits, 42 runs, 34 earned runs, and 21 walks, forcing a .266 opponent batting average. Edds has accrued 69 strikeouts this season, good for fifth in the conference. He's allowed 65 hits, 48 runs, and 37 earned runs with 28 walks, forcing a .253 opponent batting average.
First pitch between the Railsplitters and Catawba Indians is slated for 6 PM on Saturday. The doubleheader will be held on Sunday with game one beginning at 1 PM. Senior Day festivities will be held prior to game one of the doubleheader on Sunday.
