Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial Softball (26-15, 10-8) will face the Cavaliers of UVA Wise (19-22, 5-13) on Wednesday, April 9th, for a 1 PM/3 PM doubleheader at the Dorothy Neely in Harrogate.

Lincoln Memorial sits fifth in the conference standings after sweeping the series over Newberry before falling in both against Catawba. The Splitters hold an overall average of .311 on the season, still averaging right around five runs per game. Hanna Bogoski is coming off a monster week at the plate, posting a slash line of .750/.778/1.188 on 12 hits, seven RBI, and five runs, including two homers on the week. Another Splitter with a great week was Jordann Reagan, who posted her own .455/.611/1.000 slash line, also including two homers alongside 11 RBI and six drawn walks. The LMU pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.92 so far this year with a 1.57 WHIP, with opponents batting .306 against them. 

UVA Wise is 12th in conference standings, heading to Harrogate after snagging series splits against both Coker and Wingate this past week. The Cavaliers are batting .293 as a team and average right around four runs per game. Their pitching staff has a 4.15 ERA on the season, seeing opponents bat .305 against them. Kaylynn Baker leads their squad, holding a .355/.398/.455 slash line on the season with a team-high 24 RBI. Lindsey Polan is their home run leader, sending six over the wall as part of her 14 extra-base hits this year. LMU holds the all-time series 14-7,  with last year's faceoffs resulting in a split in Wise, Virginia. The Cavaliers are 1-7 on the road this year compared to the 16-6 home record by the Railsplitters.
