Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial University Softball will open up the NCAA Southeast Regional play against Lenoir-Rhyne on Thursday, May 8th, at 4:30 PM in Dahlonega, GA. North Georgia is the site host, facing off against the Pioneers of Tusculum in the game before LMU's. The four teams will go through a double-elimination tournament with the winner facing off against the other Southeast Region winner in a best-of-three series next week.

Anna Kate Reichter and
Halle Grace Patton will be the leaders for the squad, both earning All-Tournament Team nods for their respective performances in the SAC Softball Championship. Reichter hit over .500 in the games, bringing her season tally to hitting .384 with a .463 slugging percentage and .443 on-base percentage.
Halle Grace Patton went 3-1 in the tournament, bringing her tally to 24-7 on the season and holding a 1.98 ERA in her time in the circle. Other key players for the Splitters are
Hanna Bogoski (.357/.521/.431) and
Hannah McMeen (.346/.562/.419). Joining them in hitting over .300 are
Kristin Griffin and
Nicole Couvertiere, aiding in the team's overall .314/.439/.394 slash line.
Their first opponent will be a familiar one in Lenoir-Rhyne. LR won the SAC Softball Championship, and the Bears' Madison Wilson earned Tournament MVP honors from her time in the circle. Madison Primm and Lani Warren have been key for the team, both hitting over .400 on the year. As a team, the Bears have hit .361 with 91 home runs on a .626 slugging percentage and .435 on-base percentage.Â
The other two teams in the region are Tusculum and North Georgia. TU lost in the opening weekend of the SAC Championship to Carson-Newman, holding a .351/.504/.412 slash line on the year with a 37-17 overall record. UNG's record has been 42-12, going .354/.615/.434 in 2025. They fell to Georgia Southwestern in the Peach Belt Conference Championship final last week.
