Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team and head coach Devan Carter have announced the upcoming schedule for the 2025-2026 season.
This season we will see 13 home games, which will be played in Tex Turner Arena, 12 away games, and one neutral site game. Of the 13 home games, 11 are South Atlantic Conference match ups, while 11 of the 12 road games are also against SAC opponents, with the team set to face each conference rival both at home and away.
In the five seasons that Carter has led the women's basketball team, they have went 32-26 at home and 69-63 overall.
Like last season, LMU will begin the season with the SAC/Conference Carolinas Challange, but this year Lincoln Memorial is hosting the tournament. The Railsplitters will face King on November 14th and Converse on November 15th.
After the Challenge, the team will then travel to Dahlonega, GA to compete in the North Georgia Tournament on November 21-22, with Lincoln Memorial facing host North Georgia on November 21st and Clayton State on November 22nd.
South Atlantic Conference play will begin on November 28th as they host Lenoir-Rhyne, followed by a road trip to Salisbury, NC to face Catawba on December 6th. Lincoln Memorial will then return home for a three-game stretch: December 10th against Mars Hill, December 14th against Wingate, and December 17th against Emory & Henry. The Railsplitters will close out December on the road as they travel to Anderson, SC to face Anderson on December 20th.
LMU will begin the new year at home, hosting Tusculum on January 7th. After that they will have a pair of road games on January 10th and January 14th, as they travel to Newberry, SC to face Newberry on January 10th and Jefferson City, TN to face rival Carson-Newman on January 14th. The team will then play back-to-back home games; taking on Coker at home on January 17th and UVA Wise at home on January 21st. The alternating home-and-away stretch continues, with the Railsplitters hitting the road next for two straight games: at Emory & Henry in Emory, VA on January 18, followed by Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, NC on January 24.The Railsplitters will finish the month at home against Catawba on January 31st.
Lincoln Memorial will go back on the road to start February, as they will make the short trip to Greeneville, TN to face Tusculum on February 4th and to Wingate, NC to take on Wingate on February 7th. The pattern continues as the team will have two home contests, facing Carson-Newman on February 11th and Anderson on February 14th. The last set of away games will be on February 18-25, as LMU will travel to Mars Hill, NC to take on Mars Hill on February 18th; Hartsville, SC on February 21st to face Coker on February 21st; and Wise, VA to play against UVA Wise on February 25th. The Raisplitters will close out the regular season in Tex Turner Arena as they play host to Newberry on February 28th.
The 2025-2025 South Atlantic Conference Tournament will be on March 4-7 in Rock Hill, SC.
