Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse will host the Mount Olive Trojans Saturday, February 21st at 12 pm.
The weekend meeting will only be the second time that these two programs will be facing each other, with LMU getting the 11-8 win in their first match.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 11-19 loss against Lander on February 14th.
Gavin Reid led the team in goals with four along with two assists for a team-high six points.
In the South Atlantic Conference,
Brixten McKenzie is sixth in face off winning percentage (.610) and eighth in ground balls per game (4.50). Reid is seventh in goals per game (3) and eighth in points per game (4.50).
Jayden Herman is eighth int he SAC in save percentage (.442) and seventh in saves per game (7).
Jenson Jones is third in shot percentage (.571).
Nationally, McKenzie is 22nd in face off winning percentage.
As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fourth in the SAC in ground balls per came (35) and fifth in assists per game (8.50).
Nationally, LMU is 14th in assists per game and 18th in ground balls per game.
Mount Olive is coming off of a 9-15 loss against Newberry.
Leaders for the Trojans include Benjamin Vanderkley (#13), who leads in goals with six, and Kurtis Lensing (#39) who has 34 saves on the season.
LMU is going into the weekend with a 1-1 overall record, and UMO is entering the match with a 0-2 overall record.
