HARROGATE, TN – Lincoln Memorial University softball returns to the road this weekend for a non-conference doubleheader at Southern Wesleyan University on Saturday, Feb. 21 in Central, S.C. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., with game two set for 4:00 p.m. Live stats links will be available on the LMU website, and there will be no video stream for either game.
The Railsplitters enter the weekend with a 3-7 record and will look to carry their early-season production back into the win column. Offensively, LMU has collected 69 hits through 10 games and is batting .259 as a team with 12 doubles, one triple, and one home run. Reese Vivrette has been one of the most consistent bats in the lineup, hitting .455 with 15 hits and four walks, while Hanna Bogoski is batting .387 with a team-best five RBI and two doubles. Anna Kate Reichter has added 10 hits and four doubles while hitting .313, and Jordann Reagan has been a steady presence getting on base with a .484 on-base percentage, including 10 walks and a home run.
In the circle, LMU has used a balanced staff early on, totaling 64.1 innings with 40 strikeouts. Jasmine Kaylor leads the team with two wins and has logged 18.0 innings, while Brooke Strickland has worked a team-high 24.2 innings with 22 strikeouts. Katie Fultz has also provided key innings, striking out 12 in 16.2 frames. As a staff, the Railsplitters will aim to limit free bases and keep Southern Wesleyan's offense off the scoreboard early, especially in a doubleheader format where momentum can swing quickly.
Saturday will mark the first-ever meetings between Lincoln Memorial and Southern Wesleyan, adding a new matchup to the schedule as the Railsplitters continue to build rhythm and consistency heading deeper into the spring.
