HARROGATE, TN - Lincoln Memorial softball is back at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex this weekend to host Abe's Invitational, welcoming Thomas More and Bloomsburg for a two-day slate in Harrogate.
LMU enters the weekend at 5-9 and coming off a confidence-boosting midweek sweep of Lee, as the Railsplitters continue to show steady production at the plate. Through 14 games, Lincoln Memorial is hitting .286 as a team with 108 hits and 19 doubles, and the top of the lineup has consistently created traffic. Reese Vivrette paces the offense with a .396 average and 19 hits, while Hanna Bogoski is close behind at .395 and leads the team with seven RBI. Jordann Reagan has delivered extra-base damage with four doubles and a home run, and the Railsplitters have also gotten a spark from Cassidy Hack, who is hitting .320 and has already produced two doubles and a triple.
In the circle, LMU has leaned on a four-player staff early in the season, with Brooke Strickland leading the way in innings and strikeouts. Aslynn Lupton has provided strong early-season relief work, posting a 1.62 ERA across 8.2 innings, while LMU will look for efficient starts and clean innings across a busy weekend schedule.
Saturday begins with a first-ever matchup against Thomas More, a program that comes in hitting .302 as a team and has shown an ability to score runs early in the season. After that opener, the Railsplitters face Bloomsburg, a familiar opponent from recent seasons. Lincoln Memorial has had success in the series historically, including a 5-1 win in the last meeting on March 1, 2025, and the Huskies were picked sixth in the PSAC East preseason poll after a 33-win season a year ago. LMU will see Bloomsburg twice across the weekend, and both matchups should provide a strong measuring stick as the Railsplitters look to string together momentum.
Live stats and video coverage will be available throughout the weekend as part of the Abe's Invitational event package.
