Harrogate, TN – For the first time this season, the Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team will take to the road for two matches this weekend, facing Anderson in conference play on Saturday and North Georgia in a Sunday non-conference matchup.  

The Railsplitters hit the road with a perfect 4-0 record after a 4-0 win on Saturday against Belmont Abbey, as the Splitters finished the day with two doubles wins and victories in each singles match thanks to Marta Melnichenok, Alexandra Ortiz, and Mia Rodriguez.  

In total, the Splitters didn't drop a set during singles play, including a perfect 12-0 sweep from Rodriguez in the closing match of LMU's win. 

LMU starts their weekend by facing Anderson at 1:00 p.m. in the Railsplitters South Atlantic Conference opener, with Anderson coming in at 9-1 and 0-1 in conference play after falling to Lenoir-Rhyne. 

North Georgia will take on the Railsplitters at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, as the Nighthawks enter with the number seven national ranking after starting 4-2 this season.
