Women's Tennis Hits The Road to Face Wingate on Saturday

Harrogate, TN – Coming off of consecutive conference wins, the Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team will attempt to earn their first road win of the season as the Railsplitters travel to face 15th-ranked Wingate on Saturday.

The Splitters are coming off of a 4-1 win over Tusculum on Tuesday that pushed their record to 6-2 and 2-1 in the South Atlantic Conference, while Wingate enters with a 7-2 record and a perfect 2-0 mark in conference play. The win helped push Lincoln Memorial into the ITA top 50 rankings, as the Splitters currently rank at 42nd in the national poll. Head coach Abraham Lascari saw his win total push further north against Tusculum, as he recently eclipsed the 100 win mark this season.

Lincoln Memorial has won each of their last two matches by a score of 4-1, as the home court has been kind to the Railsplitters. In total, the Railsplitters have outscored opponents 32-17 and 11-6 against SAC opponents.

Wingate will host the Splitters at Monroe High School in Monroe, N.C. at 1:30 p.m. A link to the live stats page can be found below.
