Softball Welcomes Coker for Wednesday Doubleheader

HARROGATE, TN - Lincoln Memorial softball continues South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday, March 18, hosting Coker for a doubleheader at the Dorothy Neely Softball Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., with game two set for 2:00 p.m.

The Railsplitters enter the midweek twinbill at 9-15 overall and 1-3 in SAC play, looking to build off a weekend that included a dramatic extra-inning win in the conference home opener. Offensively, LMU is hitting .281 as a team through 24 games with 182 hits, 39 doubles, and six home runs, while continuing to put pressure on the bases with 39 stolen bases. Hanna Bogoski has been one of the lineup's most consistent bats, hitting .375 with 27 hits and nine RBI, and Reese Vivrette has been a catalyst at the top, batting .329 with a team-high 20 runs scored. Hannah McMeen continues to provide extra-base production in the middle of the order with eight doubles, a triple, and 13 RBI, while Kristin Griffin has driven in 13 and Jordann Reagan has been a steady presence on base with a .456 on-base percentage and a team-high 17 walks.

In the circle, LMU has leaned on a four-arm staff that has logged 155.1 innings as the schedule has ramped up. Jasmine Kaylor leads the staff with 49.2 innings and three wins, while Brooke Strickland has provided 39.2 innings and a team-best 33 strikeouts. Katie Fultz has picked up four wins and has also been a key option in relief, and Aslynn Lupton has continued to provide valuable innings when called upon.

Coker arrives at 9-11 overall and 1-1 in SAC play, sitting in the middle of a tightly packed conference race early in the season. The Cobras are hitting .284 as a team and have shown pop with nine home runs, while their pitching staff has posted a 4.07 team ERA. Coker is coming off a split against Tusculum in its most recent conference doubleheader.

Wednesday's matchup adds another chapter to a series that has been competitive over the years but has recently leaned in LMU's favor. The Railsplitters have won eight straight in the series, including a 3-0 victory in the most recent meeting on March 12, 2025, and LMU is 8-2 over the last 10 matchups.
