Men's Lacrosse Faces Lenoir-Rhyne In Road Match Saturday

Hickory, NC - Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse will face Lenoir-Rhyne on the road on Saturday as they face the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears at 4 pm. 

The weekend contest will be the 11th overall meeting between L-R and LMU, with Lenoir-Rhyne being undefeated in the series. The most recent match up between the two programs was last season in March of 2025, where the Railsplitters fell to the Bears 8-20. 
 
Currently, Gavin Reid is the team-leader in points with 33 for team-high 27 goals and six assists, and Jenson Jones is leading in assists with 11. Brixten McKenzie is leading in ground balls with 38 and face off win percentage with 60%, and Connor Blondin is the team-leader in caused turnovers with nine. Goalkeeper Jayden Herman is leading the team in saves with 62. 

In the South Atlantic Conference, McKenzie is fourth in face off winning percentage (60%) and eighth in ground balls per game (4.75). Reid is second in the conference in goals per game (3.38), and Jones is sixth in goals per game (2.75) and third in shot percentage (50%).

Nationally, McKenzie is 26th in face off winning percentage, Reid is 12th in goals per game, and Jones is 14th in shot percentage. 
 
As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fifth  in the SAC in clearing percentage (87.5%), fourth in face-off win percentage (58%), fourth in total ground balls (282), fourth in ground balls per game (35.25), fifth in man-up offense (.417), fifth in points (174), second in scoring defense (10.63), and fifth in scoring margin (3.75).

Nationally, LMU is 18th in total ground balls, 19th in ground balls per game, 15th in man-up offense, 17th in points, 18th in points per game, and 12th in scoring offense.   
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 15-9 win against Emory & Henry on March 18th, where Reid led in points with six for five goals and one assist. Lenoir-Rhyne is coming off of a 22-8 win against #13 Catawba on March 18th. 

LMU is going into Saturday with a 5-3 overall record and a 2-2 conference record, and the Railsplitters are tied for third in the conference standings with Coker. 

The Bears are entering the match with the 3-3 overall record and 1-2 conference record. L-R is tied for fourth in the SAC standings with Catawba and Tusculum. 
 
The match is set to start at 4 pm in Hickory, NC.
