Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team looks to stay unbeaten at home, as after two big wins earlier this week, the Railsplitters host ninth-ranked Catawba in conference play.
The Splitters two wins came against Purdue University Northwest on Tuesday and Emory & Henry on Wednesday, defeating the Lions 5-2 before dispatching the Wasps 4-0. The wins moved LMU to 8-3 this season and 3-2 in the South Atlantic Conference, as Lincoln Memorial has gone 8-0 at home.
In doubles play, the Railsplitters pairing of Adriana Pellizzari and Natalia Reimer have combined to go 7-2, while both Pellizzari and Alexandra Ortiz have gone 5-2 to open singles play this season.
Catawba comes into this weekend at 8-1 and 2-0 in the conference, as they will face UVA Wise at 1:00 p.m. on Friday before traveling to face Lincoln Memorial.
