Crestview Hills, KY - Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse will play their last non conference match of the seasons on the road against Thomas More on Wednesday at 6 pm.
The midweek contest will be the first time in program history that the two teams will face each other.
Currently,
Gavin Reid and
Jenson Jones both lead in the team in points with 35, as Reid has team-high 27 goals and eight assists and Jones has 24 goals and team-high 11 assists.
Brixten McKenzie is leading in ground balls with 42 and face off win percentage with 55.4%, and
Connor Blondin is the team-leader in caused turnovers with 11. Goalkeeper
Jayden Herman is leading the team in saves with 64.
In the South Atlantic Conference, Reid is sixth in goals per game (2.70), Mckenzie is sixth in face off win percentage (55.4), and Jones is fifth in shot percentage (46.2%).
As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fifth in the SAC in caused turnovers per game (9.60), fifth in total ground balls (322), fifth opponent clear percentage (82.5%), fifth in total saves (112), and fourth in scoring defense (11.40).
Nationally, LMU is 18th in man-up offense.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 9-8 win against UAH, and Thomas More is coming off of a 6-20 loss against Davenport, with both teams playing on March 28th.
LMU is going into Saturday with a 6-4 overall record and a 2-3 SAC record, and the Railsplitters are tied for sixth in the conference standings with Tusculum.
The Saints are entering the match with the 4-6 overall record and 2-4 GMAC record. Thomas More is seventh place in the Great Midwest Atlantic Conference standings.
The match is set to start at 6 pm in Crestview Hills, KY.
