EMORY, VA - Lincoln Memorial softball opens South Atlantic Conference play on Tuesday, March 10 with a road doubleheader at Emory & Henry.

The Railsplitters enter the conference opener at 8-12 and are coming off a statement result in their last outing, highlighted by a win over a nationally ranked North Georgia. Offensively, LMU has produced 99 runs on 154 hits through 20 games while continuing to generate extra-base production with 34 doubles, four triples, and four home runs. Reese Vivrette has been one of the team's most consistent bats, hitting .362 with 25 hits and a team-high 17 runs scored, while Hanna Bogoski is close behind at .361 with 22 hits and seven RBI. Hannah McMeen has added impact in the middle of the order, batting .313 with 10 RBI and a team-best 31 total bases, and Kristin Griffin has delivered key run production with 11 RBI and two home runs. Jordann Reagan continues to set the tone with extra-base punch as well, posting six doubles, a triple, a home run, and an on-base percentage of .446.

In the circle, LMU has leaned on a four-arm staff and will look for clean innings and efficient pitch counts as SAC play begins. Aslynn Lupton has posted a 1.38 ERA in 20.1 innings, while Jasmine Kaylor leads the team with three wins and has logged 38.2 innings. Brooke Strickland has been a workhorse with 36.0 innings and a team-best 29 strikeouts, and Katie Fultz has added 34.1 innings with 21 strikeouts.

Emory & Henry enters Tuesday at 12-8 and has been one of the SAC's most dangerous offensive teams early in the season, hitting .324 with 29 home runs and a .545 slugging percentage over 20 games. Hannah Booth has driven in 24 runs while hitting .444, and Sawyer Tolley and Liberty Johnson have combined for 14 home runs. The Wasps have also shown depth in the circle, led by Malorie Reeves, who has logged 64.0 innings with a 3.06 ERA.

The matchup continues a series that has favored the Railsplitters in recent years, with LMU holding a 6-2 advantage in the last eight meetings. The teams last met on March 4, 2025 in Harrogate, where the squads split the doubleheader.

Tuesday's twinbill opens the SAC slate for both programs, and it marks the beginning of the conference grind with two seven-inning games on the road in Emory. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m., followed by game two at 3:00 p.m. Live stats links are available through the LMU website.
