This high-stakes match up marks the second meeting between the two programs this year, following a thrilling contest in early February. In that previous encounter, the Railsplitters fell narrowly to the Trailblazers, 8-7, in Tigerville, South Carolina. North Greenville enters the midweek showdown with an impressive 36-7 overall record and a dominant 23-4 mark in conference play. Meanwhile, Lincoln Memorial brings a solid 26-16 overall record into the game, supported by a 17-10 standing in South Atlantic Conference competition.
The Lincoln Memorial offense has been fueled by several standout performers who have maintained consistent production throughout the season. Gabe Gray leads the team with a .374 batting average and a .956 OPS, recording 64 hits and successfully stealing 13 bases on 15 attempts. Caleb Jordan is close behind with a .357 average and 56 hits, while Brady Morse has provided significant power with 14 doubles and 51 hits on the year.
