Men's Lacrosse On The Road To Anderson Saturday

Anderson, SC - Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse will go on the road for the second time this week as they travel to Anderson, SC to face the Anderson Trojans Saturday at 12 pm.

The weekend meeting will be only the sixth time that the Railsplitters and the Trojans will face off, with LMU falling in the series 0-5. In the most recent match up between the two teams, which was last season in March of 2025, Lincoln Memorial fell to Anderrson 12-25. 
 
Currently, Jenson Jones leads the team in points with 40, as he has 30 goals and team-high 14 assists. Gavin Reid also has 30 goals, which ties for the team lead.  Brixten McKenzie is leading in ground balls with 49 and face off win percentage with 57.1%, and Connor Blondin and Mark Alarcon are team-leaders in caused turnovers with 11 each. Goalkeeper Jayden Herman is leading the team in saves with 64. 

In the South Atlantic Conference, Reid and Jones are sixth in goals per game (2.73), Mckenzie is sixth in face off win percentage (57.1), and Jones is third in shot percentage (50.8%).

Nationally, Jones is 13th in shot percentage.
 
As a team, Lincoln Memorial is  fifth in the SAC in total ground balls (355), fifth in man up offense (.40), fifth in points per game (21), fourth in scoring defense (10.82), and fifth in scoring margin (2.91).

Nationally, LMU is 19th in man-up offense, 22nd in points, and 20th in scoring offense. 
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 22-5 victory over Thomas More, and Anderson is coming off of a 17-13 win over #6 Newberry, with both teams playing on April 1st.

Leaders for the Trojans include Cole Sparks (#8), who leads in points with 57, Ryan Bitterman (#2), who leads in goals with 37, and Chris Czulada (#0), who leads in caused turnovers with 20.

LMU is going into Saturday with a 7-4 overall record and a 2-3 SAC record, and the Railsplitters in sixth in the conference standings.

The Trojans are entering the match with the 10-2 overall record and 4-2 SAC record, and Anderson is tied for third in the conference standings with Lenoir-Rhyne. Anderson was most recently ranked #10 in the United States Intercollegaite Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll. 
 
The match is set to start at 12 pm in Anderson, SC.
