Reese Vivrette named Juice Spot Railsplitter of the Week

Harrogate, TN -- Lincoln Memorial softball junior infielder Reese Vivrette has been named the Juice Spot Railsplitter of the Week following an incredible stretch of offensive production for the softball program. Vivrette spearheaded the Railsplitter attack over a four game span against Tusculum and Mars Hill, providing a consistent spark at the top of the lineup while leading the team to a perfect four victory week in South Atlantic Conference play.

The standout infielder was nearly impossible to retire over the week, finishing with a 706 batting average and a 722 on base percentage. Vivrette collected 12 hits in 17 at bats and reached base 13 times total. Her performance was defined by elite contact and speed, as she recorded at least two hits in every contest during the four game stretch and struck out zero times in 18 total plate appearances.

Vivrette was particularly effective in generating runs for the Railsplitters, finishing the week with seven runs batted in and five runs scored. Her week was highlighted by a triple and a .824 slugging percentage, and she remained a threat on the base paths with two stolen bases. Her most dominant performance came in a high scoring victory over Mars Hill where she went four for five at the plate to help secure the conference sweep. In addition to her offensive numbers, Vivrette remained active in the field with 15 total chances and eight putouts while moving across the diamond to anchor the defense. Her veteran presence and historic weekly average helped Lincoln Memorial extend its current winning streak.
