ROCK HILL, SC- The South Atlantic Conference has announced its WePlayed Sports Golfers of the Week for the first two weeks of the 2026 Fall season, and Lincoln Memorial's Edward Mason snagged Men's Golfer of the Week honors following a strong performance at the Lake Lanier Collegiate Classic from Monday, Sept. 21 - Tuesday, Sept. 22.

A Junior from Colchester, England, Mason fell just short of individual medalist honors at Achasta Golf Club, posting rounds of 66-67-66 to give himself an 11-under par score while competing individually for the Railsplitters, his career best so far while competing for Lincoln Memorial University. The event also marked the fourth top-ten finish in Mason's Railsplitter career, and the second time he claimed second place.

The award marks a successful start to the season for the No. 8 Railsplitters, who look to continue to take the momentum from early on in the year and continue to compete.
