Harrogate, TN — Lincoln Memorial University junior Vincent Quilici has been named the First Century Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, recognizing his outstanding achievements both in the classroom and within the community. A sprinter for the LMU men's track and field team, Quilici continues to exemplify the balance of academic excellence, athletic commitment, and service that defines the Scholar-Athlete award.
Quilici is majoring in criminal justice and criminology and carries an impressive 3.955 GPA while being an active member of LMU's Honors Program. His academic portfolio includes numerous distinctions, such as AP Biology Student of the Year (2021), AP Statistics Student of the Year (2023), AP Scholar with Honors (2022), AP Scholar with Distinction (2023), membership in the National Honor Society, SkillsUSA Club, and consistent recognition on the LMU Dean's List in 2023, 2024, and 2025. This spring, he will further add to his accolades with induction into the Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Honor Society.
Beyond academics and athletics, Quilici has made a significant impact through community service. He has participated in initiatives such as Operation Buzz, which included planting flowers at Gap Creek Coffeehouse, as well as planting trees, cleaning up litter around local businesses, and assisting with Halloween Havoc donation drives. He has also volunteered with the Veterans Day Flag Raising and remains an active member of the BEAR Club, LMU's community service team.
Quilici has also been named SAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week and is the Lincoln Memorial men's track and field record holder in the men's 200m, with a 22.20 mark at the Vanderbilt Invitational in Jan. of 2025,
