HARROGATE, Tenn. -- The Lady Railsplitter tennis team (3-0) only gave up three game points as they dominated Union College (0-1) Sunday afternoon at the LMU Tennis Complex.

LMU won both doubles matches played by 8-0 margins. In the first flight, Elena Vasilyeva and Javiera Gonzalez defeated Summer Manning and Ellen Denham. At flight No. 2, Marta Pinol and Roksolana Prudyvus picked up the win over Erika Broady and Claire Kilmartin. There was no match at No. 3 due to Union having not enough players.

At singles, Pinol blanked Manning at No. 1. 6-0, 6-0. Nos. 2 and 3 singles both had 6-1, 6-0 margins. Gonzalez defeated Denham at No. 2 and Priscila Bulandres overcame Union's Broady. LMU's Angelica Solano beat Aline Dalmedico 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 while Rosa Smith bested Kilmartin 6-0. 6-0 at the No. 5 flight. As with the doubles, there was no match at No. 6 singles due to there not being enough players.

LMU next travels to Richmond, Kentucky to take on Eastern Kentucky Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
