HARROGATE, Tenn. -- The Lady Railsplitter tennis team (10-4, 5-3 SAC) won their sixth consecutive match as they blanked Lenoir-Rhyne (6-9, 1-5 SAC) 9-0 in a South Atlantic Conference match Tuesday afternoon at the LMU Tennis Complex.

In doubles play Elena Vasilyeva and Priscilla Bulandres defeated Dominique Bruce and Marta Escanero Funes 8-3 at No. 1 while Rosa Smith/Javiera Gonzalez won a close one over Julia Ponomareva and Lucy Stofberg 9-7 at No. 2. At No. 3 Marta Pinol and Roksolana Prudyvus cruised by Taylor Frederickson and Abbi Wood 8-1.

In singles action Vasilyeva bested Bruce 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1, Pinol improved her season record to 11-3 with the 6-4, 6-1 win over Escanero Funes at No. 2 and at No. 3 Gonzalez pulled out the 8-5 win over Ponomareva. Bulandres moved to 9-4 on the season with her 8-0 win over Stofberg at No. 4, Pruudyvus remained a perfect 8-0 in SAC play (12-1 overall) with her 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 over Frederickson while at No. 6 Solano defeated Jessica Rumple 6-3, 6-1.

LMU travels to Salisbury, North Carolina tomorrow to complete their match vs. Catawba that was halted due to weather a few weeks ago.
