HARROGATE, Tenn. – The No. 6/9 Lady Railsplitter basketball team travels to Anderson for their biggest road test of the year as the top two teams in the SAC face off Wednesday evening.
LMU is currently 13-0 overall and 8-0 in SAC play coming into Monday's game. They are currently ranked sixth in the latest D2SIDA National Media Poll and ninth in the WBCA/USA Today NCAA Division II Coaches Poll. Those represent the highest rankings in program history.
Currently, LMU sits atop the SAC standings with their 8-0 SAC record. Catawba and Anderson are tied for second with 7-1 records. Wingate is fourth with a 6-2 record.
In their last game at Queens, LMU held off a very stubborn Queens team while having one of their poorer offensive outings of the season. There were eight ties and six lead changes in the game, with Queens taking the 58-56 lead with 3:55 to go only to see LMU run off a 12-2 run to grab the 70-60 win.
Shea Coker (Knoxville, Tenn.) led the way with 24 points, one shy of her career high of 25 set back in November at Carson-Newman.
Megan Pittman (Liberty, Ky.) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds while
Ross Mathis (Greer, S.C.) had 14 points. For the game, Queens out-shot LMU 43.1%-to-39.3% from the field, 46.2%-to-42.9% from three-point range and 100%-to-81.3% from the free throw line. LMU won the rebounding battle 35-32.

LINCOLN MEMORIAL VS. ANDERSON
· This is the first meeting between the two schools this season. Anderson will make the trip to Harrogate for LMU's senior night on Feb. 22.
· LMU was picked 5th in the pre-season coaches poll and Anderson, the defending SAC Champions, were picked 2
nd.
· Anderson comes into the game with a 10-2 overall record and a 7-1 record in SAC play. Their losses have come to Clayton State and Catawba.
· In last year's meeting in Harrogate on Jan. 13, 2016, LMU had a 68-66 lead late but a LMY foul sent Alexis Dillard to the line, where she hit both free throws to force overtime. LMU had a three-point lead late in the first overtime before Dillard rebounded a LMU missed three-pointer and got the ball down the court to Madison Floyd, who tied the game at 75-75 and sent it to double OT. In that period, AU pulled away late for the 88-83 win.
· After this game, the Lady Railsplitters will host Catawba on Saturday. Catawba is currently tied for second place in the SAC with Anderson..

· The current 13 game win streak is the longest win streak during LMU's time in the NCAA.

Shea Coker is leading the team with a 14.4 points per game average. She currently ranks second in the SAC in 3-pt percentage, third in field goal percentage, sixth in made field goals and made three-pointer, seventh in points per game and eighth in points.

Megan Pittman is close behind Coker with 14.1 ppg and is second on the team in rebounding with 9.6 a game. She is currently shooting 81.0% from the free throw line, which ranks her seventh in the SAC. She is third in the SAC in total free throws, fourth in total rebounds (second in offensive and sixth in defensive) and rebounds per game, seventh in blocks, tenth in points and 12th in steals.
· Senior
Josey Harding (Middletown, Ohio) currently leads the team in rebounding with 10.3 rebounds a game. She currently ranks second in the SAC in rebounds per game, total rebounds and defensive rebounds. She is also sixth in offensive rebounds and total free throws and 11
th in blocks. She set a new SAC single-game rebound record with her 27 at Carson-Newman.
· Karsen Sims is third on the team in scoring with 9.8 points a game. She currently is fifth in the SAC in 3-pt. percentage, is second in assist to turnover ratio and seventh in assists.
· LMU is outshooting their opponents 42.7 percent to 36.0 percent this season. They are outscoring their opponents by an 18.2 points per game margin.
· The Lady Railsplitters are currently out-rebounding opponents by 9.2 rebounds a game. In the
Krystal Evans era, LMU has out rebounded their opponents in 60 of the 71 games played.
· LMU enters the game with a program record of 833-480-1 in 75 seasons of competition.
LMU IN THE RANKINGS
· The Lady Railsplitters are ranked ninth in the latest WBCA/USA Today Top 25 Coaches' Poll. This is their highest-ever ranking in that poll.
· The team is ranked in the D2SIDA National Media Poll at the No. 6 position. This is the highest the team has ever been ranked in any poll in program history.
· LMU is also ranked first in the Southeast Region in the latest D2SIDA Media Poll, with 60 total points and all six first place votes.
RECORD WATCH
· Megan Pittman currently has 818 career points. Harding has 584, Coker 572, Anderson 302 and Mathis 230.
· Pittman has 657 career rebounds, moving her past Robin Adams (1987-90) to 7
th all-time. She is seven rebounds behind sixth-place Jill Breeden (1982-86) and 13 behind fifth-place MaRanda Boddie (2011-14).

Ross Mathis have moved into the top 20 in made three-pointers. Coker is 16

LAST TIME VS. ANDERSON
· Anderson used a 16-4 second quarter to run out to a 35-18 halftime lead and never looked back as they ended LMU's 2015-16 season in the SAC Tournament semifinals with the 69-51 win. LMU was held to 26.5 percent shooting from the field, 7.1% from three-point range and 66.7 percent from the free throw line.

· Heather Jankowy is second in scoring with 10.9 ppg.
· Head coach Jonathan Barbaree is in his first season at Anderson. He comes to AU following two seasons at Coastal Georgia and many years as an assistant coach at Georgia College and Georgia State. His replacement at Coastal Georgia? Former LMU coach Roger Hodge. Barbaree enters the game with a 10-2 record at Anderson and a 34-37 overall record.
