HARROGATE, Tenn. - Coming off of 35 days between games, the Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball team (3-1, 2-1 SAC) will take on Anderson (5-3, 4-2) inside the friendly confines of B. Frank "Tex" Turner Arena this Wednesday, January 6 at 5:30 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Lady Railsplitters took on Bluefield State (W.Va.) on the road on December 1, 2020 and came away with a 79-65 victory.
Lauren Flowers led the charge with 21 points and seven rebounds while
Lindsay Proffitt had 18 on 4-8 shooting from three point range.
Lexi Kiser scored 17 points and went 3-4 from beyond the arc, while freshman
Kassidy Kenny recorded her first double figure game with 12 points on 10 made free throws.
Versus The Trojans
The Lady Railsplitters have a 6-18 all-time record against Anderson. The Trojans have won six consecutive matchups in the series while LMU has not recorded a victory since a 71-68 home win on January 3, 2018.
About Anderson
Anderson is coached by Jonathon Barbaree, who is in his fifth year as head coach and has a 102-29 overall record (.779). Coming off a 26-5 (19-3 SAC) season, the team is 5-3 (4-2) so far this season. Despite losing Southeast Region Player of the Year Alexy Mollenhauer, the Trojans employ a balanced lineup as eight players average between four and 11 points per game. Taylor Hair leads the charge as she averages 11 points and 5.9 rebounds while Jalyn Spurlin chips in 10.8 points and 3.6 rebounds. Britney Bailey holds the fort down in the post as she leads the team in rebounding with 6.1 per game.

LMU will head on the road in conference play as they will travel to Lenoir-Rhyne on Jan.9. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
