HARROGATE, Tenn. – Coming off a road loss against rv Tusculum, the Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball team (7-9, 6-9 South Atlantic Conference) will welcome Queens (1-15, 1-14) to Tex Turner Arena for their final home game of the 2020-21 regular season.
Last Time Out
The Lady Railsplitters took on Tusculum and carried a nine point lead into the halftime break, but fell to the Pioneers 71-62. For the second straight contest,
Maggie Jachimczuk led LMU in the scoring column with 18 points on a career-high four made three pointer, adding in five assists for good measure.
Lexi Kiser had another efficient performance with 14 points on 5-8 shooting, including 3-5 from the three point line while
Jordan Maney had 11 points and six rebounds.
Lauren Flowers rounded out the double digit scoring with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Versus The Royals
The Lady Railsplitters have an 18-4 all-time record against Queens, including a 10-1 record inside the friendly confines of Tex Turner Arena. LMU has won nine of the past ten meetings, including a dominant 96-49 victory earlier this season in Charlotte.
About Queens
Queens is coached by Jennifer Brown, who is in her first season at the helm of the Queens program. A former Division I standout at James Madison, Brown spent time at JMU and Virginia Tech, ascending to lead assistant coach with the Hokies before coming to Charlotte. Coming off a 5-23 (4-18 SAC) season, the team is 1-15 (1-14) so far this year. Kalaya Hall leads the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game while Kristian Eanes and Kristy Hamze are at 14 and 13.8, respectively. Amari Davis leads the team in rebounding with 7.6 per contest while averaging 8.8 points.
