Nicholas Krauss has been named the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men's Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
 
Krauss, a freshman from Knoxville, Tenn., defeated Cumberland's Ethan Gomez by a 9-6 decision in the 165-pound weight class on Nov. 21 for his first collegiate win in a dual match.
 
This is the first conference honor of the season for the Railsplitters, who will host both Limestone and Patrick Henry CC on Friday for a tri meet beginning at 5 p.m. in Mary Mars Gym.
