Bente Latenstein has been named SAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. She received the honor for the week of September 17th-24th, and was dubbed for the second time with her performances against Carson-Newman and Wingate this past week.Â
The junior Dutch goalkeeper combined for 14 total saves and a 0.737 save percentage on the week. 11 of these saves came against their Saturday game against Wingate, where she posted a 0.786 save percentage. On the season, Latenstein has notched six wins with 58 total saves, averaging just 1.25 goals allowed.Â
