Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial Women's Soccer team will hit the road on Saturday, October 7th, to take on nationally ranked Catawba. The game is slated for a 3:30 PM kickoff in Salisbury, NC at the E.B. Frock Field following the men's game at 1 PM.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off a tight match against Mars Hill, in which a late-drawn penalty and a Carla Wilson score would leave the game knotted 1-1 at the final whistle. LMU is now 7-2-2 heading into Saturday, 3-0-2 against SAC opponents. The team will look to continue to stay solid taking on a tough opponent in Catawba. 

In the most recent United Soccer Coaches Poll, Catawba moved up to a #2 national ranking. The Lady Indians are 9-0 on the season, 5-0 in SAC play so far. This includes their most recent game, also against Mars Hill, in which they won 1-0 from a 74th-minute goal from SAC Offensive Player of the Week, Bree Ehmer. Sydney Jimmo will also be a force to watch from Catawba, with eleven goals and three assists already on the season.
