The men's and women's wrestling squads were back in action at the Georgia Open hosted by Emmanuel University and the Eagle Madness hosted by Life University, respectively.
The women competed on Saturday, November 11th, with six Lady Railsplitters competing in the tournament. Lincoln Memorial was led by
Jordan Muncy in the 116 pound weight class,
Ashley Morris in the 123 pound weight class, and
Calista Gibson in the 130 pound weight class, all going 2-2 in the tournament.Â
The men took on the Georgia Open on Sunday, November 12th, with 10 wrestlers competing for Lincoln Memorial.
Porter Finstad finished fourth in the 125 pound weight class, going 2-2 in his matchups. In the 141 pound weight class,
Kade Millsaps would gain four wins, leading the team in victories on the day.Â
James Thaxton (141 lb class),
Austin Vincent (149 lb class), and
Michael Nunn (184 lb class) would also post 2-2 results at the tournament.Â
The men's team will return to the mat on Wednesday, November 15th, on the road for a dual against conference opponent Limestone.Â
