Harrogate, TN – Women's Golf will be opening their 2023 fall season playing at The Links at Stoney Point in Greenwood, SC in the Anderson/Erskine Fall Kickoff.

"I am very excited to return our core from last years team. We made great strides as a program but still have room to grow. We are very excited about the addition of Marietta Diakou who has earned her spot in the starting lineup this week adding to the depth within our team" stated Coach Robinson.  "We are excited to see what these great young women can achieve this year and continue to push LMU women's golf in the right direction. The team has been working hard and are excited to get the season started next week at the Links at Stoney Point!"
 
The 2022 season had the LadyRailsplitters winning the Jekyll Island Invitational and having two other top 10 finishes.  As a team, the women had a team average of 307.46 for the fall.
 
Coach Robinson will be relying on returners Lauren Martin (Sr.) and Rachel Mathieson (Jr.) to push the team through. 
 
Starters for Womens Golf this weekend:
1. Lauren Martin  (Sr.)  78.08 average for 2022-23.  Five top 20 finishes on the season
2. Dilyara Bulambayeva  (So.)  78.23 average for 2022-23. Had four Top 25 finishes on the year
3. Marietta Diakou  (Fr.)  First year golfer from Greece.  Played on the Greek National Team
4. Rachel Mathieson  (Jr.)  78.15 average for 2022-23.  Season featured seven Top 35 finishes
5. Carley Downhour  (Sr.)  81.86 average for 2022-23. Had three Top 40 finishes on the year
