Mars Hill, NC - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team will travel to Mars Hill, NC to face Mars Hill Tuesday evening, their second SAC match up of the season.

This will be the 39th meeting between the two teams, with the first meeting dating back November of 2002. Their most recent match was last season in February of 2024 where the Lady Railsplitters defeated the Lions 91-63. 

The Lady Railsplitters are coming off of a 62-53 win against Newberry. Matty Tanner led the team in points with 15 and Kamil Collier led in rebounds with 8. 

Currently, Tanner and Collier are tied for leading the team in points, both averaging 13.5 points a game. Alexa Smiddy is behind them, registering an average of 10.5 points a game. Collier is leading the team in rebounds with 11.3 rebounds a game, with Lexi Patty behind her, averaging 4.8 rebounds a game. 

Mars Hill is coming off of a 87-62 win over Anderson. 

In the SAC standings, LMU is in 4th where Mars Hill is in 3rd.
